Region 12 Kathryn Miley DNP, FNP-BC, ENP-BC

Indiana State University Nurse Practitioner since 2008, I have worked in many Emergency Departments all over Indiana including Logansport, Terre Haute, Martinsville, Batesville, Lafayette and Shelbyville. After this experience, I obtained a large amount of experience being Locum Tenens ER Nurse Practitioner in six different states full-time for 2 years.  I currently work as fulltime NP Hospitalist in Shelbyville at Major Hospital, but continue to work in many ERs around the US.

In 2013, I was lucky enough to participate in the development of the Emergency NursePractitioner(ENP) certification through the ANCC as a standard setting board member. I enjoy teaching, traveling and a 2015 mission trip, checked off one of my bucket-list boxes.  I also love my family, including my husband of 25 years and 5 children. I find rural medicine is unique and I would love to see the rural NPs of Indiana join to offer support and resources sharing.
