I have been a nurse practitioner for 18 years and am in a hospital owned family practice in Chesterton, IN. Prior to practice in Indiana, I have practiced in rural southern Ohio, rural West Virginia and the delta of Mississippi. I am presently completing my DNP at West Virginia University with an anticipated graduation date in August 2011. My clinical focus is Osteoporosis. I have become passionate about bones over the last three years and preventing fractures from low bone mass. I am married to Michael for 37 years, have three grown children and five grandchildren. My husband is a pastor and so my other life is being a pastor's wife and women's and children's ministries. I love to ride horses, dabble in stained glass, play the piano (what pastor's wife doesn't), play with my grandchildren and spending time in sunny warm climates with my husband. I love being a nurse and the depth and breadth of this discipline and profession.
